Nile River, North-East Africa

This river is the longest in the world. It travels for 4,132 miles before it reaches the Mediterranean Sea. The mouth is located in the delta of Egypt. Its water resources are shared by 11 nations, including Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea, South Sudan, Sudan and Egypt. Amur rises within the hills of Western Manchuria at the confluence of its two main Affluents Shilka River and Eugene River located at an altitude of 994 feet. It flows eastand forms the border between Russia and China. River gradually changes direction to the southeast over approximately 250 miles, passing several small towns, and receiving many tributaries.
